This net is designed especially for handling large koi without injury.

Simply collect the bottom open end of the net with one hand to close it Then scoop up the koi into the net along with a modest amount of water. You can now safely lift the koi up out of the water and move it to another source of water. The koi is gently suspended in water the whole time you are moving it. When you get to the new water source simply lower the net into the water and release the bottom end of the net. The koi will gently slide out of the net into the water.
